import problem

  • hi, I want to import from one self hosted wordpress site to other self hosted wordpress site. Which plugin will do this task and how? Pleas Please do reply and help me to do this work. I’m trying but all is failed. so plz help.

  • Hi Abid Khan,

    Do you need to import just the content (database) or do you have themes and plugins you wish to import as well?

    You can use the export & import tools inside of your WordPress dashboard (Tools > Export & Tools > Import) to export and import your WordPress content.

    If you have themes you wish to bring over as well, you should be able to copy your wp-content folder from your first site and upload that to your second site (overwriting the 2nd site’s wp-content folder). You can then activate your desired theme from your WordPress dashboard.
