import problem in windows

    Hi All,

    I am working on my company’s new website which is built on WP. I have tested it properly on my local WAMP and WP 2.7.1 and trying to upload it on our company’s windows server. I have installed WP and added new theme and everything. Now when I am trying to import the content of the site, it gives me error and says

    “Unable to create directory C:\.. .. .. /wp-content/uploads/2009/03. Is its parent dir writtable by server?”

    I tried to remove the read only check box but still as it is. Also when I try to create directory manually, it says cannot move uploaded file to the directory.

    Had any windows user face this problem before? Looking forward for some tips. Thanks in advance.

    Yes!!! I have resolve it.

    I trid to untick the read only check box but it didn’t work. So I gave write permission to from the security tab of properties.
