Import Process Keeps stalling/Hanging

I decided ot upgrade my lazyest gallery to Eazyest and attempted to import my existing gallery.
It stalled a few time but would continue if I clicked Start again (I had about 280 folders and several 1000 images)
now its down to 1 of 28 folders remaining, but will go no further, just sits there
