Hi, I get these two errors when using your procedure to import reviews:

Line2>>Error: product_id must be a positive number. Can you tell me where the product_id field is located? I put a product code in the Title.
Line3>>Error: No data for this review. I suspect this is caused by the previous error.

In the CSV file there is room for an email address. Is this required?

Sorry to be a pest. Many Thanks.

    Thanks for using our plugin!

Can you please download template of the spreadsheet for upload of reviews from the plugin (“Import” page)? ‘product_id’ is the fourth column in the template. It has name ‘product_id’.

Yes, email address is a required field to create a review.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

Many Thanks for your response but it does not help. I did download the spreadsheet and completed 1 review line. When I uploaded I received the error messages I provided in my earlier message, repeated here:

Line2>>Error: product_id must be a positive number. Can you tell me where the product_id field is located? I put a product code in the Title.
Line3>>Error: No data for this review. I suspect this is caused by the previous .

This is a copy of the excel spreadsheet that I uploaded and received the errors:

    Thanks.

Please edit your last reply and remove personal information (name and email) from the public forum.

It is not possible to understand what you actually have in the file based on the information you provided. Can you please upload the file somewhere (after anonymizing personal information) and share a link to download it? Unfortunately, this forum doesn’t support upload of files.

Yes, I think that rules of this forum prohibit publication of personal data but I’m not sure. We might need help from a moderator to update your reply.

I downloaded the sample file and tried to import it on my test site. I received one error “Line 2 >> Error: product_id must be a positive number.”

This is because “product_id” in your file is “AN025”. This is not a valid product id for WooCommerce. It should be a positive number.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Ivole,

I tell you what I do not understand about the import and the error message that the product_id must be a positive number. I worked as a programmer, systems analyst for many years. For the upload to update the correct product it needs to find a field in the woocommerce product record called product_id. There is no such field to my knowledge. My AN025 is part of the Product Title. So I have not entered a product_id so if this field exists only a woocommerce routine could assign a product_id and I cannot find that field.
If you have understood me to date then you will understand that I do not know what value to put in the product_id.

Ok, I see what the issue is now ?? Please have a look at this support article: https://cusrev.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000455285-what-is-product-id-field-in-file-for-import-of-reviews-

It explains what is a product ID in WooCommerce and how to view it.

    I hope it helps.
