Import reviews with helpful vote count

    Hi everyone,

    I’m hoping someone here can help me out.

    I’m trying to import 100 reviews from a website into Site Reviews. These reviews include user votes, and I’d like to include the vote counts as part of the import. This would allow users to filter the reviews by “most useful.”

    The import guide mentions a “score” column, but I’m not sure if this can be used to import the vote counts or if it serves a different purpose.

    By the way, the documentation is quite limited, so I’m struggling to find clear answers.

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Go to the Site Reviews > Tools page and use the Import Reviews tools to import your reviews.

    • Step 1: Download the CSV template file
    • Step 2: Enter reviews into the CSV file
    • Step 3: Upload the CSV file to import the reviews

    The score value is used by the Review Actions addon and is the number of upvotes a review has received. The Review Actions addon integrates with the Review Filters addon allowing people to sort reviews by “most helpful” (based on the score value).

    It’s not specifically mentioned that the Review Actions addon is is required (unlike the images column) because the addon is still in beta so some things are incomplete (like documentation).

    Fixed in the upcoming updates…

    Hey guys
    I think is not working.

    I think there might be a bug or something isn’t working as expected.

    I’ve tried uploading in several ways, but it doesn’t seem to work.

    For reference, the date format the plugin accepts appears to be 2024-08-19 (without the time included).

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Ah, yes it’s a bug. It will be fixed in the next Review Actions addon update.
