    Hi @natebald

First of, thank you for your message.

    1) Answer is no, not yet unfortunately. There is no automatic job to sync campaigns. This is a great idea for future improvements. I’ll note it for the plugin’s roadmap.

    2) Answer is yes I guess. There is no automatic display of all your campaigns. You choose which campaigns you want to display by simply copy/pasting the embed code into a Post. See:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/olalaweb-mailchimp-campaign-manager/#how%20to%20embed%20a%20campaign%20in%20a%20post%3F

For instance, you create a new Post, copy paste one embed code for the campaign 12345 inside the body and save.

Only this campaign will be displayed on front end.

    Does that help you?

    thanks for the quick response.

In Mailchimp how do you find the campaign ID? If I open a campaign, I see ?id=156713 for example, but that doesnt seem to machine if already imported by your plugin.

Don’t you see the campaign ID in the admin screen?

yes, but that is not what I am asking. How do you get the campaing ID from within Mailchimp?

… not sure I understood then.

If you want the campaign ID you can find it from within WordPress – as shown on the previous screenshot. This ID comes from MailChimp payload during the import.

I do not know where it is possible to get it from within MailChimp.

I just can say that this is a unique identifier (UUID) for each campaign as explained in their documentation: https://developer.mailchimp.com/documentation/mailchimp/reference/campaigns/#read-get_campaigns

I guess you can ask the MailChimp support team if you need further info or read their documentation.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Ok, so here is the scenario.

Your plugin imports ALL the campaigns in the MailChimp Dashboard to WordPress as a new post in the Post Type Newsletter, we only want a sub set of those. When you import them, you can see in the backend campaign id=”82f3eb8de3″ for example.

Since we dont want ALL of the campaigns, how would you recommend only displaying certain ones without having to import all, then delete ones you dont want, which in our case would be most of them.

So my thought was if we just manually create the newsletter posts by adding post title and pasting a short-code in the post content. However I can not find in the MailChimp dashboard a campaign ID like mentioned before. When I view the campaign id=”82f3eb8de3″ in MailChimp I see in the URL something like the following /campaigns/show?id=156725.

My guess is you might not know the answer as you are just making calls to the API. But thought I might follow up and ask none-the-less.

    Hi @natebald

I think your request is interesting and will also be useful for many other users.

I had already received messages about having the possibility to manually select which campaign should be imported in WordPress.

This will be a great feature.

I unfortunately do not have time to dedicate any time soon.

So we should not expect a new version before the end of this summer (in 3 months).

Please feel free to comment / to start a new thread if you find anything else interesting while using the plugin.

    Cheers
