You suggested trying this plug in, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/import-users-from-csv-with-meta/. It seems to be useful after using a test csv. However, it doesn’t seem to be able to recognize the WP-Members fields I created. The plugin developer said he doesn’t know why and to ask you. He feels it may have something to do with the way meta values were entered in the csv or the WP-Members plugin.

Here are the Display labels and meta keys. His plugin only imported WP username, email, password I created, subscriber designation. Nothing else was imported.

Here are the csv column names matching the Display labels for WP and WP-Members:
    Username / Email / Lot Number / Password / Last Name / First Name / Property Address / Different Mailing Address / City / STATE / Zip / Email2 / Phone / Phone_Cell

Here are the WP-Members meta keys created:
    username
    email
    lot_number
    password
    last_name
    first_name
    billing_address_1
    billing_address_2
    billing_city
    billing_state
    billing_postcode
    email2
    billing_phone
    phone2

    Your help appreciated.

    Hi Sharon,

I think I saw a support subscription come through for you? If so, definitely use the support site to initiate a support request. That way I will see it for certain. I am not able to check the www.ads-software.com forums every day, and even when I do, the support that I can offer here is minimal. Since you’re paying for support, I want you to get what that entails. (More info here: https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/how-to-request-support/)

This question is fairly simple. You haven’t used the field meta keys when importing.

The header row of the imported CSV indicates what each column is. The first two are “username” and “email”, but all other fields need to be the meta key of the field.

If you imported with the field labels as you have indicated above, before you correct things, I would recommend that you delete the users you imported. Otherwise you’re likely to have “orphaned” data in your database. It wouldn’t be a requirement to do that, but why start off a site with junk in your data?
