I’m trying to import a csv with different products, among the csv fields I have an “Images” field and a “Video” field, in these fields there are the urls to the server on which the images and videos can be viewed, after importing the csv, the images are visible in Woocommerce and appear as featured images but I don’t see the videos anywhere, is there a problem with importing video links in Woocommerce or am I doing something wrong? If I put the video urls in the “Images” field of the csv, could I view the videos instead of the images in the same position where I view the images now?
    Thanks

Thanks for the help, but then once I’ve customized the shortcodes could I import them from csv?

    Hi @userweb,

Yes, exactly! Once you add the video shortcode directly into the “Product Description” field in your CSV, it will embed the video in the product description section automatically. This approach means you don’t need to create a separate “Video” column in the CSV, as WooCommerce will recognize the shortcode in the description and display it as an embedded video on the product page.

Just ensure that the shortcode is correct within the “Description” field, and it should import without issues.

You can also try adding a video shortcode to one product’s description directly in WooCommerce, then export that product to see how it behaves in the Description field of the CSV. This lets you view exactly how WooCommerce formats it, and you can manually copy the shortcode in the CSV, adjusting the URL for each individual product as needed.

I hope this clarifies things! Let me know if you need further help.

I imported the csv with the video shortcodes inserted in the product description, the videos are displayed and play without problems, I am very satisfied, thank you!
