Import Wishes from another Wishlist?

    Hello,

    this plugin looks promising, it seems that it uses the database instead of relying on cookies. That’s the reason why we need to change replace our wishlist (included in the theme) with another one…customers regularly lose their wishlist entries, which are stored oly in the cookies on one particular computer…and then someone thinks it’s a good idea to remove the cookies. =:-[]

    So we’d like to switch to your plugin. But there’s one difficulty: How can we transform existent cookie-based wishlist entries to your plugin? How do other people do this? Place a second heart-shaped icon next to the existing one and ask customers to make sure both are clicked?

    Hello there,
    we hope you’re doing well!

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to import items from wishlists created by another plugin, into our wishlist system.

    If you want to use our plugin, I recommend deactivating your wishlist functionality so you can use it without causing confusion for your users.

    It should be noted that our plugin also uses cookies, only to be able to identify the wishlists of guest users, to store them in the database. These cookies, by default, expire in 1 month.

    OK, thank you very much.
    We will just put your plugin icon (heart?) next to our heart icon and color it differently, then we’ll tell all users to always select both hearts ??
