import with a Blank Username field

    I am looking to import a bunch of users , however, i have blank Usernames ( the first required field.
    Can I import with simply using a an empty field i.e ,, must I have data in the username field?

    @robwin68,

    Username is required for this plugin because WordPress makes it required.

    Why do not use email as username in those cases?
