Import Woocommerce Products

So, I want to import the products but only assign the products to the created categories on woocommerce side; without create more categories. Is this possible?

You can use our mapping tool to map the categories from the file to the ones that are in WooCommerce already: https://d.pr/i/KlvyhI.

Or, if there are too many categories and that’s not feasible, you could handle it with custom code and our API. Here’s an example that you can modify as needed: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/code-snippets/#only-import-existing-categories-or-other-taxonomy-terms.

Edit: After testing the PHP script, it doesn’t work as I expected. It still creates new categories and I don’t want that – It’s possible to avoid this?

My apologies, I see that the snippet no longer works as-is. I discussed this with our developer, and we went ahead and implemented a new option: “Do not create new terms”. This option can be found in the “Advanced Options” sub-section of the “Taxonomies, Categories, Tags” section in this BETA version of WP All Import: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-all-import.3.7.3-beta-1.0.zip.
