I’ve just set up my WordPress site and added BookPress. I like what the plugin promises, and if this works out for me, I plan to buy the premium version so I can publish more than one novel.

The workflow for adding a chapter is mighty tedious. I have not figured out a more streamlined way to do this:
    Click Book Press
    Click book title – Edit
    Scroll down
    click +
    switch to Scrivener
Click the chapter, select all, copy
    switch to Safari
    type the chapter name
    click Add element
    Click the chapter title name
    Click in the text area
    Paste
    click Document
    click the four checkboxes
    click Update

There needs to be a way to globally change element options. For example, to turn on indexing, word count, publishing, and TOC entries for all the chapters.

I don’t like the layout; I’d prefer a one-page view, perhaps with chapter list to the left like on Kindle.

I’d like to be able to specify the typeface. It’s sans-serif now. I probably can’t get Cochin, so I’ll settle for the same serif typeface as then 2015 theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thank you for your interst in BookPress and suggestions.

The fond is set by your theme but there are lots of font management plugins for WordPress and we recommend you install one of those to change your fonts.
