IMPORTANT INFORMATION about the 503 Service Unavailable Notice

    NOTE: As of January 2019, The Amazon Product Advertising API introduced new restrictions on API usage. If your site does not generate enough revenue for Amazon over a 30-day period, your access to the API will be disabled until your revenue stream improves. If this plugin suddenly stopped working for you and if your ScrapeAZon Settings Test page is displaying “503 Service Unavailable” and you know that your settings are correct, it is possible that your API access has been revoked pending a revenue uptick.

  • Hello,

    My access has been revoked because I didn’t make any sales in 12 months. Then, when I went to open a new account, I see they do a full review now, including at least 3 sales, recent content and more. I don’t think it’s worth it to do all these things.

    Is there any other way you know to get around this? I enjoyed using your plugin.

    Hello, Joe.

    Thanks for using the plugin. Unfortunately, there is no way around the Amazon Advertising Product API threshold and review process. If you want to be able to use their API (and thus the plugin), you’ll need to comply with Amazon’s terms.
