    Ok thanks. Could you please share your instagram account link?

    We would like to include it in the test users of the app trough the facebook dashboard to check if its a permissions problem.

    None of the solutions have worked for my personal account either, just adding a comment so I can track solutions ?? The instagram account is: https://www.instagram.com/kidlittv/ (it is set up as a personal acct). thanks!

    I’ve read recent posts & the devs are aware that the error is happening with personal accounts. However, it seems that my business account is also affected. Error is as depicted below.

    Dear devs,

    I really, really appreciate your work and I think you are seriously interested to solve this issue. But: our sites still show this ugly “Error 400” alert and we would be grateful to get some info about the proceeding. Just to know you care and that a fix is on the way. And … what is the timeline until the plugin works again.

    We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

    It is impossible to give you an exact date because it doesn’t depend on us. We have sent the application for review more than ten times, and the Facebook reviewers have not provided a clear path to approval. They are requesting different things and sometimes contradictory requirements in various reviews. Currently the permissions request is under review.

    We have a temporary fix that we are implementing with some users, which involves adding them as tester app users. Please provide your Instagram account username, and we will include it as a tester user in the app. This will allow you to get the required permissions. Once we include your user, you will see the invitation in the Invitations section -> https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/

    the best solution right now is to log in to meta for developers, create your own app, add instagram basic display, add your insta account as a tester, confirm your account as a tester, get your account id and a access token for your app, go to social feed gallery and click “button not working”, enter your id and token. your account connection should work again

    We wanted to let you know that we’ve added your Instagram account as a test user for the application. To confirm this, please visit the following link: https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/ and ensure that the request has been approved. Once confirmed, you can easily add your Instagram account to the plugin by clicking on the “Add Personal Account” button without any issues.

    I am most probably too stupid: When I delete the account and add it from scratch, I’m asked to reconnect my personal Insta account again (that’s not what I want on my customer’s sites…). Even if I do so, just to try, I get the message “Du bist leider nicht berechtigt, auf diese Seite zuzugreifen” (not authorised to acess this page).

    I generally do not like tinkering and work-arounds on extensions. I prefer them to work as they should. So … I’ll wait until Mr. Zukkerberg approves your request.
