Important: update 2.1 FAQ
-
As we had to brought the plugin uptodate with the latest WordPress standards, all legacy code was removed and replaced with current API.
After the 2.1 update, QuickAdsense settings may be reset to default. Please, go to the plugin’s Settings menu and set up your ads again.
If you do not see the ads, please, check the following:
1. Please, check if everything is set up correctly on the QuickAdsense settings menu. Do not forget to click “Save Changes” button.
2. Check, if the first option “Place up to X ads on a page” is not too small. Try to increase it.
3. If you use AdSense responsive ads, try to set alignment to “None” or specify min width/height of a container. As another option, try to use fixed width ads or containers.
We’ve noticed that responsive ads sometimes do not show up if a <div> alignment is set to Left or Right. This happens even without using of our plugin (if you put an ad inside a <div> container which has Left/Right alignment, the ad may not show up). Therefore, this is not a plugin issue. Most likely, it is related to CSS styles or to the ad script.
4. Clear cache (website and browser).
5. Check if the ad code is present on your webpages.
6. It can take some time for the changes to take effect.
7. Try to delete the QuickAdsense plugin and install it again (remove or rename it’s folder).
8. Check if this small test ad shows up:<div style="width: 320px; height: 50px; background: #777abc; color: #eee; line-height: 50px; text-align: center; ">SMALL TEST AD</div>
9. Please, check if an Ad-blocker is disabled.
10. Contact your web-hosting support team.
