Importation errors

Thanks for reaching out to us and we’re sorry for the delay and about hearing that you are experiencing issues with importing demo content on both of your websites.

I see that you are using the Larson and Noxfolio themes. Though it is strange that you would get a 404 error. That would imply that either the One Click Demo files are damange/not on your server or the One Click Demo Import plugin wasn’t installed.

First off I’d recommend that each respective theme and their required plugins are installed in their entirety and then attempt to perform the demo import as mentioned in their documentation:

If you are still experiencing the issue after attempting the One Click Demo Import, then the next workaround would be to attempt the manually import of the demo content using the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-importer/ plugin. This is not the ideal solution as you’ll need to confirm where all the demo content is stored within the theme folders and import it in the correct order for best results. I’d recommend also reaching out to the theme authors just in case they have any recommendations for users that have run into this issue.

This error is persistent on all domains that I try to use this plugin. Even when I use a different theme, it’s the same results

These errors shouldn’t be causing the issues you’re seeing with importing, as they are not related to our plugin. However, if you can provide some further information, we might be able to point you in the right direction.

When you get a moment, please let know:

• Are these sites all hosted on the same webhosting provider?
• Which version of WordPress are you using?
• Which version of PHP are you using?
• Which themes are you using and importing content for?

Also, try enabling the WordPress debug log and then try running the importer. This way if there are any issues from it, the errors should be captured.

Yes the site are hosted on the same host provider.

I use wordpress’ latest updated version 6.6.1 and php version 7.4.

I have tried using the demo importer on Noxfolio theme, it failed. Also using Larson theme, it failed and returning the same error log and also on other different themes, just to mention a few
