Imported Incorrectly

  • I had a blog that was hosted on as “myblog.wordpress.com”
    I exported the blog so that I could upload it to my new domain name.
    Imported the file to the new blog control panel on my domain.
    Seemed to work okay.

    The navigation menu is jacked. Nothing is where it should be.
    Picture slideshows were reverted to grid picture galleries.

    Is it possible to have the same functionality as when WordPress was hosting? The slideshow plugins that I found are garbage. They try to over complicate it.

    This was a big let down.
