Hello, I’m encountering an issue where imported jobs are not correctly displayed on the map. The jobs only appear on the Google Map after I manually refresh it.

I use a crawler to import jobs to my website, and I’ve verified that the geolocation data is correctly saved in both the backend and the database. However, it appears that the issue arises because the data isn’t being saved manually.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @balucky30,

WP Job Manager does not handle the mapping features – those are implemented by your chosen theme. WP Job Manager includes geolocation (outputting longitude and latitude on listings) so themes (or plugins) can map the listings.

It seems like you’re using a custom theme like Jobify, is that correct? If so, please check with the theme support team regarding the mapping features. For example, here is a support forum thread about listing not appearing on a Jobify-powered map:

However, it appears that the issue arises because the data isn’t being saved manually.

We recommend that all jobs are added via the frontend form on your site, on the page where you’re using the [submit_job] shortcode.

Several verification steps are not taken when adding a job via the Job Listings > Add New path in wp-admin. For example, problems could present as missing geolocation data, which your theme would need for mapping features.

Since WP Job Manager is not designed for crawled jobs to be imported (the way you describe it), I’m afraid we aren’t able to help you troubleshoot the issue. This would fall under custom development, which is outside the scope of our support.
