• Imported 12 or so entries from a 2.X MT installation. They all imported fine.
However, if I click on “Edit” in normal view, then click “Save” (doesn’t matter if you make changes or not), the entry will dissapear from every UI screen. (All of them, really, you can’t find it from the admin UI *anywhere*)
But, the entry still exists in the database, as you cannot re-import that entry. MySQL command line also confirms the entry is in the database.

I should have noted that this was WP 1.02.
This behavior is not present in WP 1.2RC1, which I have just installed and tested, and everything works fine.
    Keep up the good work!

My heart skipped a beat! Glad to know everything’s fine.

If anyone is finding this problem in WP 1.02, and doesn’t wish to upgrade to 1.2 yet: posts can be retrieved and saved. All one needs to have is the post number. Just copy the URI that would edit another post, replace the post number of that one with that of the missing post. Then click “publish.” This will make it show up again.
To prevent imported MT posts from disappearing in the first place when editing, click on “Save and continue editing” and then to “publish”.

You can also view the post in the DB, if you have phpMyAdmin installed on your server (which you really should if you can)
I had the same problem, and since I had no clue what the post # was, I looked in the database, found the “missing” post, and turned it back from “draft” to “publish” and the problem was solved.
