    Hello,

I am trialing out the plugin, and it seems to be working well for replacing all products into a quote format – I have selected the option ‘Select if you wish to enable quotes for all the products.’

However when I import products with a CSV they are not quote products unless I uncheck and recheck the ‘Select if you wish to enable quotes for all the products.’ checkbox.

Do you have any idea why this is happening and is there away to make exports automatically quote products?

    Hi @orbitcarrot,

Thank you for using the Quotes for WooCommerce plugin. Can you kindly let me know if you need to import products frequently?

When the “Enable Quotes for all products” setting is enabled in the plugin settings page, the plugin enables quotes for all published products. For any new products that are created after the setting has been enabled, the plugin automatically enables quotes when the ‘Save’ button is clicked on the Add/Edit product page.

You have mentioned that the same is not happening when products are imported. Can you kindly let me know which importer plugin do you use?

    Thanks,

    Pinal

    Hello,

Yes this is a site for a client, and they will be importing products fairly regularly. We are using the default woocommerce importer.

    Hi @orbitcarrot,

I’ve checked the default WooCommerce Import feature and it allows you to add custom fields and data for those as needed.

I’ve tested the sample_products.csv (found in plugins/woocommerce/sample-data) by modifying it to add the meta field for the quote setting and it’s value.

    Meta Key/column name: “Meta: qwc_enable_quotes”

    Meta Value/column value: on

So you can simply add the key and value to your importer file and when you import it from WordPress Dashboard > Products > Import, the importer will show you the data as shown in the screenshot: https://app.screencast.com/Sayam2yBar83E

Kindly click on the Run Importer button and the products will be imported with the quote feature enabled.

In case if you need me to share the modified sample_products.csv with you so you can see how it looks, please reach out on support at technovama dot com.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Pinal
