Importing a Product database – Single Attributes

    Hi Guys,

    Need help with importing a product database. I have a database converted to csv with a load of products that I have attributed Material Type | Diameter | Length. All of the products will either have a different diameter or length but could have the same material. When I upload, the ones with variables in all the product attributes upload as a variable product which is what I am after but the ones with the same material do not. Is there a snippet of code I can add to the functions.php to override this to allow an attribute to only have one variable that can be selected??

    Any help appreciated!
