Importing blog not working

Hi everyone,

I’ve just set up my www.ads-software.com blog and wish to import all my blog posts, images and comments from my old WordPress.com blog.

I’ve gone to WordPress.com blog and done an export and created a WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file. This file is over 14MB in size.

WHen I do an import into my www.ads-software.com site, some strange things happen:

1. The import takes a long long time.
2. When completed, only my posts until Dec 07 appeared. An hour later, my posts until Feb 08 appeared. The remaining posts from Feb – Apr are missing.

Note: I have already created a php.ini in my wp-admin folder, with the following lines:

max_execution_time = 2400
post_max_size = 128M
upload_max_filesize = 128M

What else can i do to make ALL my posts in my old blog appear in the new one?
