• I’ve got a host and Fantastico, which installed WP for me. I can go ahead and make entries, etc. But I really want to bring my blogger stuff over first.
I read the “read me” file, but I can’t run the blogger import .php file because WordPress is set up for me on the host side. Is there a way I can get my blogs imported from the host side?
    Thanks!

  • In your browser, what happens if you go to https://www.yourdomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/import-blogger.php ?

I get a “page not found” error. The fantatico installer didn’t install the import-blogger.php file. I looked for it there. Do I have to put it up on my host then go to that page in my browser?

You know what? Your question made me poke around. My import-blogger IS installed under the wp-admin directory. I just have everything installed off the main domain (remove “wordpress” from your url above). I got the right page to import it when I did that. So I think what I’ll do is remove my installation, put it into a wordpress directory (which is what I’ve been wanting to do anyway) and go from there. I think I’ve got it now. Thanks!
