Importing Blogger Blog with Images

I’m trying to import a photoblog from Blogger. I’ve followed all of the directions I can find and the text of my blog imported just fine, but with zero images. Since it’s a photoblog, that’s a problem.

I’ve tried all the image importers and nothing works. I haven’t found a straightforward answer on any of the forums. It’s ridiculous that this is still a problem and has been a known problem for upwards of 3 years.

When I look at the imported posts’ code, it looks like this:

The image tags have no SRC!?!?!?!

I’ve imported and deleted these posts a few times. Someone please help me figure this out. Thank you.
