Importing Categories Exported with Store Exporter

  • Hi! I am trying to export categories through WordPress’ built in Importer to import a Categories XML generated using your plugin, but I keep getting an WXR error.

    Do you know how to solve this?

    Thanks for getting in touch. To clarify, you exported your product categories from WooCommerce using the WordPress importer?

    Unfortunately, the WordPress built-in importer only imports categories related to posts and not those connected to products. You can use their built-in importer to import products which will automatically bring in the categories for you but you cannot import categories independently.

    It sounds like you are using our Pro version to run the export as you are exporting an XML file, is that correct?
