    Hello,

We’re still fairly new to using Tablepress and only have 3 tables we have imported into our WP website.

This time we ran into a problem with an Excel file that has a pricing column, formatted as currency, US dollars and only two decimals.

The import not only is showing the column as a normal number, but the decimals are ranging from 3+.

We’ve tried reformatting the column, but not having any luck even on a re-import.

Any thoughts as to what we’re doing wrong or what we need to do?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The direct Excel import is still experimental and can for example not yet take the number format of Excel into account.
Please try the import again after saving the table to a CSV file in Excel.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you for the quick response.

Importing as a CSV corrected the problem.

    Much appreciated.
