Hi @meguinness,
Currently we don’t have the option to import entries. I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar as we plan out our roadmap for the future.
Thank you for the suggestion!
I desperately need this too.
Is there any plans to add this very soon at all?
Seems counter productive to allow exporting and importing the forms themselves but not the entries?
Hi @gwmbox,
I apologize as currently we don’t have plans for this feature.
A major shortcoming indeed, I’ll be looking at other vendors’ forms for my clients’ sites in the future.
Im asking the same about import entries like user’s information to WPForms is a lot
Hey @mayoral2020 and @grisarevalo,
Sorry that we don’t have the option to import entries currently. I’ve added your votes for this to our list of feature requests for the team’s future review.
Thanks!
7 months on from my post above and still no way to import entries. Come on guys this is a basic function, it is a must have.
Adding votes is not a solution … it needs to be added into it as default, or heck even part of a paid subscription. I use the PAID Plus version and it is still not available.
How this is not part of the core is just ridiculous
The fact you have said there are no plans to add it, why not?
If it can export to csv, why can’t it import, especially if it is an exact same form. We have been rebuilding our site and want to export entries from our current site to our new site.
If there is another way to do this please let me know

Hi @gwmbox,
I apologize for the frustration that we’re not able to provide for the solution you need for now!
Due to the large volume of feature suggestions we’re receiving from our users, we need to review and prioritize the features and enhancements to be included in each development cycle.
Currently new features/enhancements get prioritized based on several factors, such their benefit to the majority of our plugin users, the demand for the feature, as well as their complexity and development resources required.
Importing entries to the database is somewhat complex for it to be properly supported, since any changes to the site database must be made carefully to prevent it from breaking the site. Unfortunately, for now, it is not something that most of our users have asked for.
However, we do appreciate these feature suggestions and keep them for future review.
For now, a possible workaround could be to use the Zapier addon to send form submissions to an external service, such as Google Sheets. That way you can add past entries to that sheet, as well as update it with new entries.
If you have further questions about WPForms, could you please drop us a line through our contact page?
As a paid license holder you have access to our email support. From there, our support team will be able to provide a quick response to your questions.
Thanks!

that’s right there’s many Basic functions not included ??
Let me add my vote for the import entries feature.
Because there is an export entries tool, I assumed I’d be able to move my entries from an old site to our new site when I originally set up the plugin. Now I have to, what, fill-in the forms again myself to transfer them over?
Should at least be a warning when exporting entries that there’s no way to import them.
Hey @kjbullis,
Thank you for the time to share your feedback, and I’ve added your vote for this feature request.
Have a good one!
Please add my vote for the import entries feature.
If it can export to csv, why can’t it import, especially if it is an exact same form. we are adding data manually and want to export entries from one site to other site.If there is another way to do this by using others plugins, please let me know

Hello Ethan,
Please add my Vote for this feature… It should had been included in the original design of the software to Export / Import entries.
Thank you,
Richard
Please add my vote for this feature too.
I would also like to see this feature. For now, I will switch to Gravity or Formidable as they both support csv import.
