Importing events fails

I am trying to import 82 events into my sportpress events list. I made a CVS file and it all looks good when I hit upload and import and I have the correct list with all the info I want. But when I then say which league it is and which season and finally click on import, even though it says that import was successfully and 82 events were imported, in fact I cannot find a single of these events when looking at all my events. I can add individual events one by one manually, but the import itself doesn’t seem to work. This is really strange as I have used the import function just a few weeks ago and it seemed to work just fine.
Any idea what the problem could be?
