Importing Excerpts only

    hello, I exported a data file using your export plugin;

    then I edited the file just for excerpts;

    now, when I try to import; no matter what options I choose, I cannot update excerpts alone;

    I think the template thinks there are new records and wants to create new records;

    also, I am being forced to pick title, and content; otherwise it does not work;

    kind advise;

    much obliged in anticipation;

    When you create your import, you need to select “Existing Items” as described in this guide: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/recurring/manual-record-matching/.

    On step 3, you’ll just drag the excerpt element into the short description/excerpt field, and then on step 4 you’ll decide how to match the products and use the “Choose which data to update” option to only update the excerpt: https://d.pr/i/25iiIL.

    You’ll see warnings about the title/content, but you can ignore them.
