Recently I upgraded to FS Poster Pro version 6.0.0 after reading that the plugin now allows the importing of Facebook Comments into WordPress.

However not a single comment has been imported during the last 24 hours.

How can this issue be resolved

    Hi there!

Please create a ticket at https://support.fs-code.com Our support team will help you as soon as possible.

Considering the PAID version because of this very option. There is nothing about importing comments in the DEMO video or the official DOCS https://www.fs-poster.com/documentation/how-to-schedule-and-auto-publish-to-facebook-from-wordpress

I also do not see any comments imported in your DEMO version either

Is this option still valid with the PRO version?
Does it use cookies, your app or our own app?
Does it risk overloading the _db_ with millions of rows?
Could it be included in a limited mode with the Lite version for us to consider?

    THANKS

    Hi there!

The issue has been fixed and there is no issue with importing Facebook comments in the Pro version.

App method supports importing comments. You can use the Standard App or your App.

There is no risk of overloading the _db_ with millions of rows.

    Best Regards,
    FS Poster.

THANK YOU for the quick response. As already stated, we are on the market for such a plugin that does 2 very simple things using its own FB app:

    1. post every new blog posts to a _closed_ FB group we administer 3 times a day
    2. import into our WP blog all comments under these posts as long as they are active

Is this fairly easily done with you fb_poster PRO?
Can we see a DEMO example of this process in action?
    THANKS

Yes, The FS Poster Pro version can share your posts to your groups three times a day
and import into our WP blog all comments under these posts.

You can be sure that these features will be available on your website after installing the FS Poste plugin. If not, we will refund you.

    Best Regards,
    FS Poster.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH
We’ve been trying to find a demo of the comment import function? I tried on your DEMO website but was not able to review it. Can you pls allow temporary access to the function on your DEMO website for review purposes? We also emailed your office if you need to email us back login permission or something else needed for the comment import demo. THANKS!

We have a demo version where you can test and try the plugin for free: https://demo.fs-poster.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=fs-poster&tab=fb

You can enable the option in the Facebook settings to fetch comments: https://i.imgur.com/KAyzPv7.png

But the demo will not fetch the comments because the plugin gets reset to its default every hour so the accounts and posts will be removed. You can be sure that it will work on your website as it already works for all customers.

    Best Regards,
    FS Poster.

The standard FS Poster app does not allow sharing to Facebook public groups, and sharing can only be done using the cookie method.

If the FS Poster app is installed in addition to the cookie method, will it retrieve comments posted onto one’s own Facebook account, group and page, which have been shared via the cookie method?

Is there an easy way to create one’s own Facebook app?

Appreciate both of your posts so very much. We’ve used the SNAP plugin for the comments before, but their own API is not consistent either. We’ve used several pre-2018 apps, but the approval is impossible. We have not found an easy way once the Business Suit gets involved and business approval becomes a must for the app to work. @fscode seems to have found a way to provide us with an easier work-around.

The cookies method is still an option if it works for importing comments back into WP. @supertrooper2 you mentioned PUBLIC groups – what about private ones? And if the cookie method words from a personal profile indeed works, this is is still a valuable option. Don’t want to spam this thread with our concerns more than needed – @supertrooper2 we will be happy to talk more details if you would like to email us at [email protected] //THANKS

@supertrooper2 The App method only supports fetching comments so you need to add the account to the plugin using the App method. You can create an App using the doc: https://www.fs-poster.com/documentation/facebook-personal-app-method-fs-poster-wordpress-plugin

If you have any other questions, please create a ticket at https://support.fs-code.com Our support team will help you as soon as possible.

@bibliata the plugin has a built-in standard App that customers do not need to create an App to use the plugin. You just need 3 clicks to add the account and all comments will be fetched from shared posts to WordPress posts.

    Best Regards,
    FS Poster.

Purchased, installed and activated plugin with no problems today. Published 1 post on FB and when it picked up in the discussion, we can see hits, comments etc. in the plugin’s LOGS/stats icon by the post.

HOWEVER, how do we fetch comments from FB on our WP website? There is no mention of comments in the 21pg. Full Guide we were sent. Pease advise //THANKS
