    Hi,
It is great work that you do here with forminator!

I’ve noticed that whenever I create a form on my test environment and try to import it to my production environment, the notification email is filled with “test environment email”

Not sure if this is a behavior that is planned or unplanned as one has to be mindful with every import to modify the “notification default email” to current environment
(maybe make more explicit import success information telling that one has to go over settings to check properly filled fields like notification email?)

Export and import is done through the same computer (windows with chrome)

Anyway great effort I really like the possibilities this software introduces.

    Hi @shoofar

    I hope you’re well today!

You mentioned “CSV” in ticket title but then you refer to importing form so I believe you mean the “import/export” option of a form (and not submissions).

This option should export/import all the form settings exactly as they are, including e-mail notification settings. But also it does not update any settings/form data.

I mean: if on test environment you have that test e-email set as e-mail recipient in notification then yes – it will be imported as such and will not be automatically updated to your live site e-mail.

We won’t change this behavior because this is a “safe way” to do import/export.

Note also, please, that you can set any e-mail as notification recipient – it doesn’t really have to be an e-mail used for your site: it may be yours or somebody else’s e-mail address, a 3rd-party address and so on, it’s up to you. The import/export function also doesn’t know if this migration is between test and live site or between two completely separate sites or if form is imported back to site where it was before.

I appreciate your kind words on the plugin though and I apologize if I misunderstood the point. If so, let me know please what I missed and we’ll be happy to help.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
