Importing from Amazon AWS

Love this plugin, works great on most of my sites. I am running into an issue on a new site I’m working on, doesn’t seem like your plugin is recognizing external images from Amazon AWS.Examples:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/usm-studio/scda/photos/scdalogo_5.jpg
https://s3.amazonaws.com/usm-studio/scda/photos/black_1_large.jpgThe import window never pops up on single posts, and the media >import external images doesn’t show that there are any posts on the site.
The plugin does work on this external with images hosted on other sites, just not these amazonaws.com images.
Any ideas?
