• Hi, I’m hoping to import my blogger blog to WP. First problem, I can’t use the import from blogger tool because cURL is not enabled on my server (my host says it is only available on Linux servers, is that true?)

So, I was looking into importing via RSS, but Blogger RSS feeds only contain the last 25 posts (I read about a solution for Blogger Beta using ?alt=rss&max-results=1000, but that doesn’t seem to work for the old Blogger). Does anyone know any other way around this? Thanks

  • Well, there is always the “Import to a server running on your PC and copy the database method”…

It may be true, for a certain definition of “true”. The CURL libraries do exist for Windows systems. However, your host may not have it on their Windows systems.

Frankly, I’d recommend using a Linux host anyway. Your life will be a lot simpler. WordPress works on Windows hosts (I run my own site on a Windows box), but it really works best on Linux boxes.
