Importing Hierarchical Taxonomy

  • Version 0.3.3 of the plugin.

    Not sure if I am missing something but I am unable to find the Taxonomies tab in this plugin?

    I have a list of categories, sub categories I would like to import:

    Example:
    Main Category: “Accounting”
    Sub Category: “Accountant – Chartered / CPA”
    Sub Category: “Accountant – Cost”
    Sub Category: “Accountant – Credit & Risk”
    Sub Category:”Accountant – Financial”

    Not sure what I am doing wrong, any advice would be great.

  • Once you’ve installed the plugin navigate to BulkPress > Terms. There you can chose your taxonomy and add subcategory terms. The plugin author has created very detailed instructions on how to add the terms.

    If you are looking to add a custom taxonomy called “Accounting” you’ll need to use one of the many plugins that will create a custom taxonomy. You can also read more about Custom Taxonomies here.
