Importing Images – XML – Featured Image
-
Hey gang,
So I’m creating an e-commerce website importing thousands of products from a company called techdata. I was able to import all of their products, however now to import the images… I’m using a company called https://www.digit-eyes.com/ to import images.
We are running images through cache script and download them to the database. The wordpress in the backend recognizes that there is supposed to be an image. (Screenshot: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s106/sh/c3594246-2107-4ffb-a96a-97eb5ba6144e/0c574b5d39e8d980cb4c85f00500e96d)
The source points to example ( https://162.210.49.91/~omos/sync/thumbnail.php?ID=255726 ). however, we can’t get the products to recognize the images.
We’re using woocommerce. The images are synced by matching them up to the product id an their upc code.
The problem = we need to figure out how to import images manually to wordpress and get wordpress to recognize the images and pair up with the product and set it as a featured image.
Thoughts?
