• I’m changing hosts; the new one has a different database setup, with different usernames, passwords, database names, etc. Copying over the whole database hasn’t worked (for those reasons, I suspect), so I’ve just set up a new WordPress installation and I’m copying over the posts manually (there’s more than 100 of them).

Is there any way to import just the posts (not the rest of the database)? I exported the “posts” table in PHPadmin and tried loading it into the new database from telnet, but my mySQL knowledge is pretty limited and it didn’t work.

Or are there any mini-applications that’ll help me copy the posts from one web form to another? Right now I have to copy from the Title field, the Post field, each of the many timestamp fields, etc. If I could just right-click and select “copy all forms” (or something) it would make the process a lot faster.
