Importing, LJ, WordPress sidebar for FireFox

Is it possible to import comments from a livejournal archive into a new self-hosted WordPress blog? Also, for current posts made to either the WordPress blog or the LiveJournal blog, is it possible to sync the comments between them, so that visitors to either one can follow the conversation? I’ve been looking at Disqus, are there any other similar services that might work for both LJ and WP?

Also, is there a way to change the name of the default poster for imported files from “admin” to something else? I’d rather have my archived articles under my username instead of “admin”

Lastly, I got the WP sidebar for FireFox which would let me make posts to my WP from my browser, but it only seems to connect to my WordPress.com account. Is there a way to get it to connect with my self-hosted WP?
