Importing New Products via CSV

    Hi,

    Is there a way to set the location checkboxes automatically when importing new products ? We are find that although the stock numbers for each locaion import correctly, the corresponding checkboxes are not ticked and stock is therefore not displayed until the checkboxes for each producted are updated manually.

    Dear Simon,

    If you add the location column in the csv file and set the stock value greater than zero, so automatically that location will be ticked/checked and the stock value will be considered too. This feature was added months ago after proper testing.

    Thanks fdr the quick response. We have tried this but it’s not ticking the checkboxes. We are unsing v2.7.7. Do we need to check any of the plugin settings ?

    I have tried this using just one test product in a csv as follows:

    SKU,Tags,Type,Published,Is featured?,Visibility in catalogue,Tax status,In stock?,Stock,Backorders allowed?,Allow customer reviews?,Regular price,Categories,Brands,”GTIN, UPC, EAN, or ISBN”,Images,Meta: _stock_at_72,Meta: _stock_at_71,Meta: _stock_at_2606,Meta: sp_wc_barcode_type_field,Meta: sp_wc_barcode_field,Meta: _seopress_titles_title,Meta: _seopress_titles_desc,Meta: hwp_product_gtin,Meta: _seopress_redirections_logged_status,Meta: _seopress_analysis_target_kw,Description,Name
    TEST123,,simple,1,0,visible,taxable,1,60,0,1,1000,Filters > Fuel Filters,Mann Filter,,,0,60,0,,,,,,,,Test Product,Test Product

    The total stock and stock for the 3 locations (0,60,0) are all correct, just no checked boxes.

    Interesting, if you are really trying like this, it should surely check the checkboxes and stock value should be stored accordingly. If you are comfortable, please use the help tab on the settings page and click on urgent help or contact developer, I will check it with you personally.
