Importing new themes into wordpress

Wow–Otto–I’m having this same problem and find your tone to be incredibly insulting and offensive. I’m using FTP and uploaded to /www.ticpost.org/web/content/wp-content/themes/tic where I was told by your directions. It is still not showing up as a choice (although who really knows where to look?–I, too, do not have a “presentation” category). How do I get it to show up as a choice and where do I really look to find it? An answer without insult or condescension would be appreciated.

If you are using the latest version of WP (2.7), then you would look under the “Appearance” tab in your admin panel. The first video in the following post may help.

I don’t want Otto’s job…the post you are referencing is 3 months old. Otto and all the mods are doing a great job. Look at his profile and you’ll see 224 pages of free help here. I can be a little “blunt” myself sometimes…just goes with being human.
