• I have set up a new www.ads-software.com site, which includes static pages that I have painstakingly designed. I have also prepared a BLOG page for new posts, but it is totally empty (no posts there yet).

I also have an old WordPress.COM blog, and I would like to import the posts from that old blog to the new BLOG page on my .ORG site. I want the old posts to be integrated into the new theme and not to overwrite the other, STATIC pages. I have set the BLOG page as the “posts page” (under Settings>Reading).

The new .ORG site is viewable here: https://new.tweedediting.com . You’ll see the empty BLOG tab/page that’s ready to receive all of my old imports. I’m just terrified that importing the export file from the .COM blog will overwrite EVERYTHING that I’ve done.

Essentially, I want to make sure that when I import the .COM’s export file, it will just put all those posts into the empty BLOG page, using the NEW theme and settings.

I hope that makes sense. I really need help! ??
