Importing products from CSV

Is it possible to import a products Brand and Child Brand from a CSV, or do they all have to be imported as Brands and then later modified to Child and parent Brands?

Right now I have one column in my spreadsheet with a Brand and another with a Child Brand; If I were to put the Brand and Child Brand in the same cell separated with a comma (like you can do with categories) will that work?
