    Hello!

I have saved the default sample data (csv) from the import settings and tried to re-import it. This gives me a fatal error. Please refer to the log.

I want to import a lot of documentations, but without a working import/export function it is not doable.

Would love to hear from you!

    With kind regards,

    Eric

thank you for your swift response.

I am not allowed to upload files here, but it is the default example file from Betterdocs > Settings> import/export > right click save the example csv file

Let me know if that’s sufficient.

    kind regards,

    Eric

    Hello again @eruts

I have tried on Latest WordPress 6.5.3 and PHP 8.1 however it’s working properly take a look : https://d.pr/v/7TFLt9

Can you please make sure that you are using the Default CSV not any modified one ? Also it would be very helpful if you could share the Eaxct CSV which caused the fatal issue, using any Cloud drive like Google Drive or other so that we can try to replicate the issue on our end

    Hope you understand
    Thanks

Note that I updated the PHP. In your video you showed 8.1.28 and I had .27 so, I thought I will try to use PHP 8.3. Same result.

This is the exact csv that I try:

    Hey @paulamit

I will submit the support ticket.

The default XML imports fine, however, I have no idea how to get the same required XML format from my own CSV.

Your XML format is very specific and therefore it seems to only function as an optional backup methods, but not really suited for creating large documentations in an csv format to import it afterwards. If you have a tip how to convert an csv (or xlsx) to your XML format, please let me know.

    I tried this tool: https://www.convertcsv.com/csv-to-xml.htm

CSV import is still broken, also on a default site with nothing implemented.

    Have a great day,

    Eric

It has been solved. It was the browser. When using Firefox it does not work. On Edge, it works fine.

Thank you for bearing with me in this process. Have a great day!
