    Hi!

Hope you all are doing well!

If I would like to start an e-commerce website and I have say like 20 suppliers with a lot of products and the update price (and other data) like two times a year by providing me a csv-fil each time, is Woocommerce right for me?

Is there a built-in feature to make this import smooth? Or do I need plugins?
Is there any way at all to get this working automagically (not necessary)?

Thanks in advance for helping me and have a nice day!

    Hi @viche

    Thank you for reaching out!

If you are planning to start a multivendor ecommerce marketplace using WooCommerce, I would suggest taking a look at our Product Vendors extension.

Also, WooCommerce has a built-in import/export feature that you can check here: Product CSV Importer and Exporter

    Hi!

    Thanks mate!

If vendor means seller there will be only one vendor which is me. But I will have several suppliers. With suppliers I mean, if I sell shoes, Nike, Adidas and ASICS could be suppliers and they maybe have hundreds of products in each file. (I am not going to sell shoes :).)

Are there still any benefits for me by using the Products Vendor extension?

It looks more like the built in importer will do the thing for me.

    Once again, thanks for helping!

I understand that you will be the only vendor on your site.

WooCommerce Product Vendors turns your store into a multi-vendor marketplace. You can assign your existing products to Vendors or they can add and edit their own to sell through your store.

Each Vendor has a dedicated page where they list products, which can be displayed alongside yours on normal shop pages. While all sales are still processed via your store’s normal payment gateway(s), you have total control of the amount of commission paid to each vendor, with the option of manually adding new commissions or editing existing ones.

It looks more like the built in importer will do the thing for me.

I’m glad we were able to help! ??
