Importing Subscribers

    Hi there,
    Is there any way to import subscribers’ First and Last names separately?

    Right now the import format is 2 columns, “Name” and “Email”. It then looks for the first space character and separates Name into First Name and Last Name.

    When we import a lot of subscribers, it then takes a lot of editing to correct names like:
    John T. James
    Steve and Mary Jones
    which get separated into:
    “John” and “T. James”
    “Steve” and “Mary Jones”

    Can we import First Name, Last Name, and Email?

    Hi,

    At this moment, it takes only Name & Email.

    We are working on this feature already and will be available in one of the upcoming release of Email Subscribers.

    Thank you for the quick reply. I’m glad to hear you are working on it. I am sure you have already considered all the options, but I would like to offer the following import columns:
    First Name, Last Name, Email, Lists

    The Lists could be delimited by some character (semicolon, pipe, tilde, etc.) so that the subscriber could be added to multiple lists at once.

    Steve, Jones, [email protected], Test|Customer|Special

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    We will incorporate First Name & Last Name in upcoming release but importing contacts with “Lists” won’t available in immediate version of Email Subscribers.

    We have already noted your feedback and will be available in future.

    Hi,

    Just want to update you that importing First Name & Last Name is available with Email Subscribers 4.1.14.

    This update does not work properly. Even if you just download sample csv and inport that one, it says invalid contacts. What is wrong?

    @czechswimruntour We found the issue and released a new version (4.1.15) with the fix.

    Please check and confirm.

    Hi, i’m trying to import and still not working.

    Ok I saw without include first line: First Name,Last Name,Email don’t work. Solved.
