importing the child theme without changing the website current setting

is there any possibility to import Newspaperex theme without the setting you already made for it. I just wish to keep all my posts the way it is.

I did a test before and I import a child theme with all its settings, and what happened was this importing everything changed all my settings and so the site was completely useless … that is why I had to uninstall and delete the theme and came back to what I was using before …

so I wish t know if purchase the Newsup is there any option to import Newspaperex without making any changes to my current posts?
