    Hi All,

I am running in to issues while trying to perform an import from a WIX export that I formed to Woo import standard arrangement.

So, the issue I am having, is that the variable products in this CSV, are labled “Out of stock” and there are no variants created.
The attribute(s) are also not checked (so unchecked) as “Use for variant”.

Whatever I try, I am not able to fix this. I have already tried to compare it to another CSV I imported before, but it look fine.

Can someone please look into this variable product to see what can be causing this issue?

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Can you please compare your file with these guidelines?
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Product-CSV-Import-Schema#general-csv-guidelines

Also, add the stock i.e. the number of units you would like for your variants.

When importing the file on your end, can you provide the file import log? You can send a screenshot via https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi @ihereira

Well I compared it to several other product CSV that I had uploaded previously without any issues.
All the data seems to be in the right place.

I have tried setting the stock quantity for the variants, this did not work.

What also might be worth mentioning, is that I think that normaly if I add a variable product, the import will state that it created (for example) 7 new products.
This consists out of 1 parent and 6 variants, thus 7.

But what is happening now for me, is that it will say it created 1 product and updated 6.

I am 100% confident I dont have any duplicate ID’s causing this issue.

The import log, where can I find this?
I use the built it woocommerce import function and I only get a log when there were any fails to import.

    Thanks!

    @ihereira

I was able to get it to work!

As it turns out, I hat letters in my ID that didnt work.
I though I changed all ID’s yesterday to numerical values and tried it again, but then it failed. So I guess I made a mistake somewhere yesterday.

    Anyway, it is solved now!

    Thanks for your help.
