Importing xls transforms euro into dollars

    Dear customer support,

    the plugin is beautiful and it works very well, also with importing xls.
    Just cannot understand why € symbol is transformed in $ symbol, than i have to manually change rows by rows.

    Can you tell me why?

    here are the screenshot of the xls and then, after the import, of the table:

    in excel the cells are formatted as “accounting”

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    This could be caused by a problem in the Excel import of TablePress. Unfortunately, the .xlsx format does not always work nicely. Therefore, please save the table to a .csv file in Excel and try to import that.

    Hi,

    I’m working on it, but data formats in Excel is tricky. Until I can find a way, simply saving as a CSV file in Excel is the better and robust way.
