• Importing is working fine. I’ve set up a sendgrid account and entered all the credentials into your “SMTP Settings” page. The test email sends fine, but none of the emails are sent during the import. No errors messages, I just never see any emails (I’m sending to several of my own accounts.)

    Could you install a mail log to see if they are being sent really?

    For example this one: https://es.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/

    Thanks for responding. I figured out what was going on at Sendgrid. The emails were sending, but ending up in my junk folders. I added the sender to my whitelist and went on testing BUT now I’m getting an entirely different problem. I tried sending another test and I got this error:

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/a2pewpnas01_data02/18/3952618/html/wp-content/plugins/import-users-from-csv-with-meta/importer.php on line 79

    There were two things I changed, the ‘from’ address and I edited the import .csv, where I changed an email address. Other than that everything is the same.

    @keress,

    This a problem from the CSV.

    Please save it using Libre Office and all should work.

    Okay, I’ll try that.

    That did it. I was using Open Office, which seems almost identical to Libre Office, and I did cheat. I copied the rows I needed to a brand new doc, so maybe Open Office would have worked too if I’d started over there.

    I’ve got a question in to SendGrid, that maybe you’ll have some insight into. I’m testing using four of my own email accounts. One received the email yesterday, but today wouldn’t. The only difference was the send email I used was different (the first had a typo so it didn’t actually exist). The one I changed it to is in my contacts folder, so I’m really surprised it would have bounced. I’m trying to understand all this better.

    Yes sure, if you would have done it, it would have worked too.

    Respect to mail, remember all about spam filters. Some trick: if you use some “From email” use a SMTP of this domain to avoid problems.
