Impossible to Add or Edit Widgets in the sidebar

  • I updated to WP 2.8.6 and I’m using Prime Press 1.3.1 for a long time.

    In the widget area I normally have a column where I can manage all the widgets that are in the sidebars. Since I updated WP I miss this column. I just have the overview of available widgets that I could add if I wanted. But the whole sidebar thing is gone. I can’t edit or even see the widgets that are already installed.

    When I visit my blog I see the sidebars, but there is no possibility to edit them anymore.

    Is this a WP issue, Prime Press ore both?

    I discovered that in my situation an update of the “pollit” plug-in was the cause.
    If you have an issue like that you better inactivate all you plug-ins, check the admin area of the widgets and if it works turn the plug-ins one for one back on until it goes wrong. Than you know what plug-in is the cause for the problem.
