    Hello,

In the wordpress dashboard (Settings > General) I wanted to define my professional email address (@nomdedomaine.com) as the administration email address but I do not receive the email allowing me to confirm this new administration address. However, I’ve tried it with my personal mailbox (@gmail.com) and it works, I’ve received the email. I’d like to understand why it works with one and not the other, and above all I really need it to work with my professional email address.

Have you already encountered this problem? If so, what should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

Please check with SMTP settings and if not there use any WordPress plugin for SMTP settings(WP SMTP plugin) to send email notification from website.

Thanks for your reply, I will try

If it still not solved and you have database access you can change email from there.

This issue typically arises due to email delivery problems associated with your professional domain. Here are steps to resolve it:

    1. Check Spam Folder: Ensure the email isn’t in the spam folder.
    2. Verify Domain Email Settings: Ensure your domain’s email settings (MX records, SPF, DKIM) are correctly configured.
    3. Use SMTP Plugin: Install an SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP to improve email delivery reliability.
    4. Whitelist WordPress Email: Add WordPress notification email addresses to your professional email whitelist.

These steps should help you receive the confirmation email for your professional address.
